Arnav Kumar is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. Leap is his second company and he has raised more than $30M in capital for his startups. In his last role, he was a VC investor with SAIF Partners (Now Elevation Capital), which is an early investor in paytm, meesho, urban company, unacademy and many other unicorns. Vaibhav Singh is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. He spent his first 6 years at DeutscheBank, across Singapore & Sydney to manage a $3Bn flow book. He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued >$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience (edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering, product, design)


About the role:

Lead the conceptualization and execution of outbound communication strategies to deliver consumer delight while they use Leap & all of its brands. We are looking for a rockstar with an aptitude for data-analysis and a passion for continuously improving user experience using effective communication. You will hold a high bar for measurement of marketing activities and will define success metrics, measurement methods and reporting processes for your efforts.

The charter for this role will include:

  • Leading the outbound and product marketing charter for all businesses of Leap

  • Developing customer message copies, content and customer segmentation strategies to increase customer engagement 

  • Collaborating with product & tech teams to increase reach and efficiency across marketing channels as well as product funnels

  • Partnering with your marketing and content acquisition colleagues to execute promotional and bespoke campaigns

  • Identifying opportunities for content efficiency & automation while working cross-functionally to implement them

Ideal Persona :

  • 4+ years of experience in managing large-scale CRM communication campaigns

  • Experience writing customer-facing content that is on-brand and relevant to customers looking to study abroad

  • Expertise of running CRM using a mix of Whatsapp, Email, Push & In-app notifications

  • Strong drive for execution and delivering results - an ambitious self-starter with excellent follow-through skills to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced environment is crucial

  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done however always have an eye for detail

  • Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

  • Relentless customer focus and obsession

  • Ability to learn new tools quickly

  • Prior relevant experience of having handled a consumer-facing digital business in a product or marketing role

  • XML/HTML/CSS skills: Not expecting coding skills, but you should be able to troubleshoot
