Vaibhav Singh
is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. He spent his first 6 years at
DeutscheBank, across Singapore & Sydney to manage a $3Bn flow
book. He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member
of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued
>$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience
(edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering,
product, design)
About the Role:
We are looking for an EIR- Content Strategy to lead Leap’s content business.
This role is a mix of Strategy and Execution in Content.
This is hands on, Individual contributor role reporting directly to the founders.
This is a high impact, high visibility, high growth opportunity.
Roles and responsibilities:
You will be setting up a stand alone business unit at Leap with full ownership, autonomy and decision making authority.
Define content strategy - what content buckets to go after, how to build the content engine, and how to crack distribution.
Set up the scalable processes for topic selection.
Set up the scalable processes for fast content production.
Build and own AI native workflows for content production and distribution.
Ideal Persona would:
Have held a key role in a content -first, content- heavy business.
- We are looking for candidates where content marketing & content strategy & content-led-branding was front and center, a key component of the business model, not an also-ran, fringe department
- Ideally someone who has seen both 0->1 and 1->100 scaling of a content -first business
Have a deep obsession with Social Media algorithms (Instagram, tiktok, linkedin, youtube) and how they work (what they like, what they promote, how to hack the algorithm)
Ideally have a well-enaged follower base of at least 2000 followers on at least one of their personal social media accounts
Have experience in setting up processes for fast and repeatable content creation at scale.
Have a deep curiosity about people, their behaviour and how to capture their attention.
They should be able to figure out a content strategy which resonates with users while being in line with the company’s brand.
Everyone at Leap is entrepreneurial, moves fast and operates with extreme ownership.
There is minimal management and extreme autonomy.
