In his last role, he was a VC investor with SAIF Partners (Now Elevation Capital), which is an early investor in paytm, meesho, urban company, unacademy and many other unicorns. Vaibhav Singh is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. He spent his first 6 years at DeutscheBank, across Singapore & Sydney to manage a $3Bn flow book. He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued >$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience (edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering, product, design)

What is this role, really?

At Leap, we’re building one of the most ambitious content ecosystems in the career and study abroad space. we believe content is more than marketing - it’s how we educate, inspire, and earn trust at scale.
The content strategist is the storyteller-in-chief. You’ll decide what stories we tell, how we tell them, and why they matter. From deep research to writing to shaping the final edit: you’ll be the creative engine driving Leap’s YouTube, Instagram, and content being used .
This role is for someone who lives & breathes content — who watches a reel and instantly thinks “why did this work?”, who writes like a creator, not a copywriter, and who can turn a counselor’s advice into something students binge.

What you’ll be doing

  • Find content opportunities — ideas students actually care about — through research, insights, and trends.
  • Write scripts and stories that are smart, simple, and scroll-stopping.
  • Collaborate with video editors, designers, and on-screen talent to bring ideas to life.
  • Convert long-form videos (like masterclasses) into short-form hits and evergreen explainers.
  • Analyse performance data (watch time, retention, engagement) and use it to shape your next big idea.
  • Build repeatable content IPs — formats that scale, not one-offs.
  • Own the entire pipeline → ideation → scripting → storyboarding → publishing → analysis.

  • a strategic thinker — you know what makes content perform, not just look good.
  • a team player — you can jam with editors, creators, and educators to make ideas stronger.
  • a student of the internet — always learning, always experimenting.
  • bonus 1: you’ve helped grow a brand or creator channel before (YouTube, Instagram, or similar).
  • bonus 2: if you’re comfortable on camera.
  • 1–3 years of experience in content, scripting, or creative strategy (agency, creator, or brand).

Today, you’ll shape Leap’s storytelling across short and long formats. Tomorrow, you’ll build new IPs, scale channels, and lead the brand voice for millions of Indian students. Your ideas will directly influence reach, engagement, and trust.
